Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22nd, 1975) is an American actress. She has been awarded numerous prizes such as a Screen Actors Guild Award Award and the Golden Globe. There have been five Emmy Award nominations as well as the BAFTA nomination and five Emmy Award nominations. She belongs to the Barrymore family, and is the great-granddaughter John Barrymore. Barrymore was a child actor and gained recognition for her role in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. After a difficult childhood, that was rife with alcohol and drug abuse, she released Little Girl Lost, an autobiography. In the 90s she appeared in many films like Poison, Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore starred with Adam Sandler on a few films: The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and Blended. Barrymore became a cult character as the child actor for her role on E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.
