Abigale Miller bio

Abigale Lee Miller (born on 21 September 1965) is an American choreographer teacher, dance instructor, and reality television personality. Abby Lee Dance Company was started by her. It aired on eight seasons of Dance Moms. Miller was found guilty on June 27th, 2016, to fraudulent bankruptcy in the felony category. Miller was sentenced on June 27 the 27th of June, 2016 to a year, and one day in federal prison. She was released the 27th of March in 2018. In April 2018 she was diagnosed with lymphoma which is a form of cancer that renders it impossible to walk. To move around she is now using a wheelchair. Miller was raised in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. She was a dancer who learned from her mother at the Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio. At the age of 14 years old, Miller was given the task of in choreographing and coaching one of her mother's dance teams. Miller later took over the studioand changed its name to Reign Dance Productions. Miller was certified by Dance Masters of America, and she was a member of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter 10 (February 1986). However, DMA terminated her membership in February 2012 due to Miller's show on reality television Dance Moms was a "complete misconception of the teachers we have and students" and was harmful to the profession.
